வினை இயந்திரம்
A Tamil verb is built in three pieces: the verb, a marker for the time (now, before, later), and an ending for who is doing it. The ending matches the subject, so you can often leave the subject out.
- படிread, study
- படிக்கிற் + ஆன்Now (present): -கிற்- or -க்கிற்-. ற் + ஆ → றா: the ending's vowel joins the marker.
